ABBA Karin Dam

Hello,

My name is Karin Dam, born June 29, 1959 in Enschede, The Netherlands. My love for the music of Abba and the members started in 1976. I had bought the single Waterloo in 1974. And also thought that they had rightly won the Eurovision Song Contest.  But I became a real fan in 1976. On March 31 of that year there was a TV special on German TV, Musikladen The best of Abba.My interest first went out to Frida. Her voice, appearance and personality. From then on I started to delve more into her and Abba's music. I joined the fan club and met many other fans. It was a great fun time! In 1982 Abba stopped making music together. Björn and Benny never stopped writing music. And Frida and Agnetha have also done other solo projects.

 

Almost forty years later on September 2 with the announcement that a whole new album would be released. Two songs were released simultaneously. I still have faith in you and don't shut me down. The album was released on November 5. This has become a wonderful gift for us fans, which we never thought we would get again. All this has to do with the shows coming up in London. Not by the members themselves but by Avatars. You can read more about this in The Shows in London.

What I do regret is that I have sold many Abba items over the years. But I started collecting again. That's why I made this site to keep track of it all.
